North Carolina’s Metal Garage & Steel Building Dealer
Built Tough. Built Your Way.
From a two-car garage to a full workshop or barn, our steel buildings are custom-built to fit your property and how you’ll use it. Every structure is made in North Carolina from heavy-duty 12- or 14-gauge tubular steel, built to engineer-stamped plans, and rated for the wind and snow loads at your address. Our crews then install it on your site. Choose your size, colors, doors, and windows, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Wall, Trim, & Wainscot Colors
Make your building match your home, your barn, or your style. Pick separate colors for the roof, sides and ends, trim, and wainscot from our standard palette: White, Pebble Beige, Sandstone, Clay, Tan, Barn Red, Burgundy, Brown, Slate Blue, Evergreen, Black, Light Gray, Dark Gray, and Galvalume. For something that stands out, upgrade to a premium color: Royal Blue, Copper, Crimson, or Burnished Slate. Walls can run horizontal or vertical.

Doors, Windows & Upgrades
Finish your building with the openings and upgrades you need. Choose roll-up garage doors from 6×6 up to 16×16, with an automatic opener or chain hoist, in standard or specialty colors. Add a walk-in door, windows, or custom frame-outs, or a lean-to for covered storage on the side. To keep moisture under control, our DripStop barrier is bonded to the roof panels at the factory. It traps condensation before it can drip on your truck, tools, or livestock.

Common Questions
Steel Building FAQ’s
What can I use a steel building for?
Almost anything you’d store or work in: garages, carports, workshops, barns, equipment and hay storage, RV and boat covers, lean-tos, and even barndominiums. Every building is custom-sized, so you get exactly the space you need.
What size garage do I need?
A good rule of thumb: an 18′ wide building fits two compact cars, 22′ fits two full-size cars, 24′ fits two full-size trucks or SUVs, and 40′ fits three. For length, 25′ fits one vehicle, 30′ adds a small storage area, 35′ leaves room for a workbench, and 40′ fits a vehicle plus a tractor. Not sure? Tell us what you’re storing and we’ll recommend a size.
How big can you build?
Widths run from 12′ up to 100′, lengths up to 150′, and wall heights up to 20′. For anything larger, ask about our commercial red-iron buildings.
Are your buildings engineered for North Carolina weather?
Yes. Every building is built to engineer-stamped plans. We use your installation address to set the wind speed and snow load your building needs to handle, and in heavy-snow areas we add extra trusses spaced closer together.
Do you offer financing or rent-to-own?
Yes. Rent-to-own is available up to $25,000 with no credit check. Financing plans go up to $200,000, with 100% financing, no money down, and deferred payments available for qualified buyers.
Is installation included?
Our trained crews deliver and install your building on your site. Labor for larger or more complex buildings is quoted with your order. If you’re building on an existing structure, a deck, or a wall, let us know up front.
How do I prepare my site?
Your site needs to be level within 3″ side to side and front to back, and square. Leave at least 3 feet of clear space around the building (10 feet if a lift is needed). Call 811 to have underground utilities marked for free. Make sure a 55–70 ft truck and trailer can reach the site, so avoid sharp curves, steep hills, and tight spaces. A concrete slab is the most common foundation.
Do I need a building permit?
Most counties require one. Check with your local permit office before ordering. We provide engineer-stamped plans to help with your application.
What warranty comes with my building?
Every building comes with a 90-day workmanship warranty, up to a 20-year rust-through warranty on the steel frame, and a panel warranty against chipping and cracking: up to 20 years on standard panels, or up to 40 years with upgraded 26-gauge panels.
What's the difference between 29-gauge and 26-gauge panels?
Lower numbers mean thicker steel. Standard 29-gauge panels are a great value. 26-gauge panels are heavier-duty, stand up better to weather, and come with a longer warranty, up to 40 years.
